Family Housing has three community rooms that are available for residents to reserve for parties or other gatherings by calling the Family Housing office. These rooms are located in Athens North (a large space located on the ground floor), Newton Court (an apartment with a full kitchen), and Smiley Court (a large facility with a full kitchen located adjacent to the parking lot). Keys must be picked up from, and returned to, the Family Housing office. Keys must be returned no later than 9:00 a.m. the morning after the event. Resident managers also have keys for the community rooms in their area.
There are restrictions on the number of people allowed in the rooms, as well as limited hours for use. Due to the high demand for these rooms, please make a reservation early. Reservations can be made up to a month in advance. Quiet hours must still be observed during community room use.
