Academic Support Assistance Program (ASAP)

The Academic Support Assistance Program (ASAP) is a multifaceted support program for students who live in the residence hall. ASAP is supervised by a residence life coordinator in the department of Housing & Dining Services. This full-time professional staff member coordinates the supervision of several student staff members whose roles vary from coordinating small tutoring groups to live-in staff members who create and implement various academically oriented programs in the residence halls.   • Small Group Tutoring
  • Drop In Group Tutoring
  • Academic Support Residents (live-in staff members)
  • One to One Academic Support and Referrals
  • Funding for Faculty Involved Programs (Community Academic Programs in the Residence Halls- CAPRH)
  • Faculty Fellows Program
  • Academically Related Programming (e.g. Study Skills, Time Management, Goals and Objectives)
  • Communication of Academic Deadlines to Residents
  • Connecting Students to On-Campus Resources

ASAP wants all students who live in the residence halls to be successful academically. The services and opportunities available to students are free of charge and positively enhance the overall college experiences of students who participate in the programs.
