The Academic Support Assistance Program (ASAP) is committed to supporting the university's academic mission by providing programs and services aimed at creating a "seamless" transition between the classroom and residence halls. All residence halls have ASAP peer advisors trained in study skills, time management, test-taking strategies, and campus resources. They assist hall residents to develop these skills and the knowledge necessary to be successful academically at CU-Boulder. ASAP also provides free tutoring in specific courses or subject matter to students in the residence halls.
Several residence halls (College Inn, Kittredge, Sewall, Williams Village) have a counselor-in-residence
The counselors are available to provide counseling, consultation, workshops, in-service presentations, classroom support, and outreach to students and staff who live and work at these residence halls. They are available to all students during walk-in hours to help with life issues and adjustment to residence hall life at CU-Boulder. Counselors are well-versed in many of the issues facing young people and welcome all students.
