The Board of Regents of the university approves the residence halls rates every year, usually in June.
Students in the residence halls will see their housing bill (combined room and board) included with their university tuition statement. Like tuition, housing bills are normally paid on a per semester basis through the Bursar's Office, not Housing & Dining Services. However, if students have a question about their housing bills, they can call housing's finance office for expert assistance.
A security deposit will be collected at the time an application is submitted. See Policies for more specifics on security deposits, refunds, and other billing questions.
The table below shows the 2008-09 room and board rates. This table is intended for planning purposes only, and is not intended to be a commitment for 2009-10. Final rates will be approved by the Board of Regents in May/June 2009 and will be available on the housing and dining website at that time.
