Diversity is an integral part of the CU-Boulder community. The Hallett Hall Diversity Program offers a living and learning community committed to promoting diversity, both socially and academically. Students enjoy a supportive environment for acquiring personal awareness of their own-and others'-values as they relate to multicultural issues. The program offers a variety of social and educational activities, including films moderated by faculty and staff, field trips, speaker panels, and other programs guaranteed to raise awareness and challenge societal assumptions of underrepresented peoples.
The Hallett diversity coordinator facilitates a nurturing environment for the students involved in the program. Along with the diversity mentors, the Hallett diversity coordinator helps translate the lessons from the classroom to the experiences of the community. In conjunction with the Spectrum Program, the Hallett Diversity Program gives each student in the building an opportunity to explore the additional aspects of diversity. These experiences serve as a natural link for all students in Hallett Hall, both in and out of the program.

Diversity themed courses are offered each semester, with priority enrollment given to Hallett residents. These classes are academically rigorous as well as socially current. Co-curricular activities, offered by the student staff, complement academic pursuits.
