Program Focus

  • Active Darley offers students a living option in which all participants strive to lead an intentionally active lifestyle. Events in the program inspire the holistic development of mind, body, and spirit. Ultimately, Active Darley participants aim to achieve academic success and fulfillment of their personal needs and goals

Who is Eligible

  • Undergraduate students with an interest in the outdoors and health
  • Individuals with an interest in cycling, mountain biking, endurance sports, fitness, flexibility training, nutrition, outdoor adventure, yoga, mountaineering, meditation, positive mental health, running, skiing and snowboarding, slacklining, pilates, rest and relaxation, rock climbing and bouldering

Program Description

  • Participate in activities and programs geared towards a variety of sub-communities including skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking/cycling, mind/body (yoga, meditation, Pilates), running, hiking, and rock climbing
  • Provides student events and programs that promote healthy decision-making and a sustainable lifestyle
  • Opportunities to consult with a registered dietician, attend weekend trips and excursions
