Housing & Dining Services is compiled of the following units: Residence Life, Dining Services, Housing Facilities Services, Housing IT, Human Resources, Finance and Occupancy Management, Apartment Life & Children's Services, Customer Relations, and CU Conference Services.

  • Housing IT maintains and services 8,000 jacks, 360 switches, 1,000 wireless access points, and 50 servers
  • Resident sustainability efforts reduced CO2 levels by 669 tons last year

Student Participation

  • Approximately 40% of freshmen involved in residential academic programs
  • Residents involved as leaders in peer conduct boards, Residence Hall Association, and hall councils
  • Approximately 7,500 students, faculty, and staff attend Global Jam opening week
  • Approximately 1,300 student participate in free tutoring

We are characterized by our dedicated, knowledgeable, and caring staff; our attractive facilities; exceptional dining experiences; state-of-the-art technology; and quality conference services. We promote experiences to support and challenge students to create the tools to build their lives and achieve academic success.

OUR PLAN

Housing & Dining Services is actively engaged in fulfilling the Residential Campus 2020 Plan. This ambitious 14 year plan began in 2006, and HDS is proud of its accomplishments to date while anticipating the full realization of this vision in the years to come.
