The Academic Success and Achievement Program (ASAP) provides free tutoring to all first-year freshmen (including commuting Buffs), residence hall students and residents of Bear Creek Apartments.

The transition from high school to college can sometimes be more challenging than expected and finding support early can have a huge impact on how your academic career begins.

ASAP offers two main services to students—drop-in tutoring and small group tutoring. Drop-in tutoring provide help where there is a high need for focused, short-term support, such as before exam periods. It can also be arranged for specific needs—all you need to do is make a request! Small group tutoring is great for students that want to be part of a more structured study environment—the tutor-mentor sets goals, provides study skill tips and can provide a strong background and understanding of the course material.
