Program Focus

  • Coursework exploring career options in the health professions including practitioners, researchers, and policymakers

Who is Eligible

  • First- and second-year students with any major

Program Description

  • Students will take one-two courses per semester in the residence hall
  • Co-curricular, faculty-sponsored talks, field trips, social outings, and civic engagement activities
  • Pre-professional advising services with the Academic Advising Center
  • Exploration of different health professions including pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy, dentistry, physician's assistant, public health, medical research, and health economics

  • Select "Residential Academic Program" on the program/hall assignment preference section on the online housing application
  • A registration packet, schedule, and description of the program courses will be mailed to you. Participation is mandatory for all residents that select and are assigned to the program
  • Assignment to the program will be confirmed through written correspondence from Housing & Dining Services
