Program Focus

  • Transfer WEST (Welcoming Exceptional Students in Transition) is a unique social and academic community just for transfer students! Students in Transfer WEST have previously attended other universities or community colleges; they are new to CU but have some experience with the college world. Transfer WEST hosts various social and active events (including night hikes, weekly community dinners, ping pong tournaments, sand volleyball games, and art programs) as well as academic advisement and career-oriented programs geared to help transfer students be successful at CU-Boulder

Who is Eligible

  • Sophomore, junior, and senior students transferring to CU, and continuing students wishing to serve as mentors

Program Description

  • Through a variety of programs and events, transfer students will be introduced to academic, campus, and social resources
  • Opportunities to advocate for issues and concerns facing transfer students
